I recently had the incredible pleasure of spending a week at the stunning DolceVita Wellness Hotels in Südtirol Italy, and let me tell you—it was nothing short of magical. Joining me on this adventure was my talented partner-in-crime, Kasia Klajn, whose passion for aufguss is just as fierce as mine. Together, we went on a journey, performing unforgettable aufguss sessions at each of the breathtaking 4 or 5 star DolceVita wellness Hotels we visited.
Our adventure began at the magnificent Preidlhof, home to an awe-inspiring wellness tower with panoramic views that took my breath away. Imagine standing in a cozy aufguss cabin, with the option to either gaze at the sprawling landscape or create an intimate theater atmosphere by drawing the curtains and playing with dramatic lighting.
It was here that I debuted my brand-new solo show called Freya’s Forrest. Nerves? Oh, absolutely! But the moment I stepped into that cabin, it felt like magic. The audience was captivated, and I could feel the energy bouncing back at me. Performing against that scenic backdrop was an experience I’ll never forget.
Next up was the charming Feldhof, nestled right in the heart of the village. The wellness area sat atop the hotel, offering stunning views of the saunas and pools. We leaned into the beauty of the season, crafting aufguss sessions that perfectly matched the autumn theme.
The cabin was an absolute dream—spacious and perfectly designed for our performances. The golden autumn light streaming through the windows added a magical touch, making each session feel like a dance with the changing leaves.
Our journey continued to the warm and welcoming Jagdhof, where the atmosphere was as inviting as a hug from an old friend. The cabin here was incredibly versatile, offering the choice of an open view or a vibrant theater setting.
There was something special about this place—the kind of coziness that makes you feel at home, even in the middle of a performance. It was the perfect backdrop for a modern-classic aufguss or a playful freestyle session, and Kasia and I had an absolute blast. The audience’s smiles were contagious, and the energy in the room was electric.
On day four, we ventured to the highest mountain peak to reach the Alpiana Wellness Hotel. The wellness area was perched on the top floor, offering breathtaking views of the vibrant autumn colors. Although the aufguss cabin was the smallest we encountered, it had a unique charm that made every session feel intimate and personal.
While it wasn’t ideal for large theater productions, the cozy setting allowed us to engage with the audience on a deeper level. We adapted our style, focusing on storytelling and emotional connection. It was a beautiful reminder that sometimes, less is more.
Our grand finale took place at the impressive Lindenhof, where we were spoiled with the largest aufguss cabin of the week. Fully equipped with DMX and a screen, it was the perfect stage for our theater aufguss shows. Here, I performed my show “Rhythm,” a piece close to my heart, and the audience’s enthusiasm was absolutely contagious.
We ended the week with one last dynamic duo performance, blending modern-classic aufguss with freestyle elements. The energy was palpable, and the atmosphere felt like a grand celebration of everything we love about aufguss.

Reflecting on this incredible week, I feel deeply grateful to the DolceVita Hotels and the entire organization for giving us this unforgettable opportunity. Each location had its own unique charm, and every performance brought its own magic.
But the true highlight? Sharing this journey with Kasia. Standing side by side in the cabin, weaving stories through the art of towel waving and connecting with audiences—it was an honor and a joy. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner.
