What: Basic & & modern classic Aufguss Course

On the first day, we will master the basics of Aufguss. On the second day, we’ll build on this foundation by teaching you advanced Modern Classic techniques to impress in the sauna. Besides that we’ll talk about some theory like essential oils, smoke, ice and heat distribution.

  • Date: Saturday 3rd- & Sunday 4th of May 2025
  • Time: Saturday 12:00 to 19:00, Sunday 10:00 to 18:00
  • Breaks: At least one lunch break, smaller breaks based on the group

  • We will accept at maximum 7 participants
  • Basic Aufguss experience is recommended
  • Course tuition fee: 360€ (85€ paid now, 275€ after)
  • Course language is English or Dutch (based on participants)
  • Waving technique videos will be provided after the course
  • Sunday, we’ll provide lunch, ordered according to participants’ requests

The training takes place in a beautiful ballet studio that, during the week, hosts dance classes for children and professionals. On weekends, we have the privilege of perfecting our Aufguss techniques & Sauna skills in this beautiful space, equipped with a dressing room, break area, studio with mirrors, and ample natural light.

From army barracks to a cultural hub

The Krayenhoffkazerne, built in 1905-1906, served as a military site during WWII and was later used by the Royal Netherlands Air Force until 1999. Now transformed into a cultural center, it features a grand café, live-work units, cultural-commercial spaces, studios, a music rehearsal space, and an underground parking garage, blending historical significance with modern amenities.
