The idea behind this event is simple yet beautiful – it’s all about the classic way of doing things, especially aufguss, without any flashy shows or gimmicks. We often get caught up in the latest trends and forget about the beauty of the classics. But not here.

What made this event even more special was the jury – the aufgussmasters themselves, who also participated. They took turns being the judges, just like in a championship, and even added a dash of humor with funny introductions by Pang (see pictures below)

After each aufguss session, the jury members and participants would head to the Yoga room to share their thoughts. It was a chance for the participants to reflect on their performance and for the jury to experience the challenges of judging. It turns out, being a judge can be quite tough!

The name “Friends Challenge” says it all. The atmosphere was incredibly friendly and harmonious. Everyone supported each other, shared feedback, and learned new things together. Interestingly, some participants felt more nervous when aufgussmasters were in their sessions. Perhaps it’s because they expect something exceptional.

That’s why it was extra special when the aufgussmasters who were also judges surprised me with the 2nd place. Getting recognition from experts who work with aufguss every day was truly heartwarming. I can’t wait to be part of this wonderful event again. It’s a celebration of tradition, unity, and friendship that I wouldn’t want to miss!
